BP Sealcoating and Paving Gives Back To Others!

BP Sealcoating and Paving is not just an asphalt paving contractor.  We care about our community and helping others.  That's why BP gives a percentage of their profits to organizations and charities.  We believe that running a business the right way with high standards, is not the only key component to having a successful business.

There is one foundation that BP donates to that really hits home. This is the Phelen-McDermid Syndrome foundation. PMS, also known as 22Q13 Deletion Syndrome, is a genetic disorder caused by deletions or rearrangements on chromosome 22. Errors in this gene have been associated with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Schizophrenia. Phelan-McDermid Syndrome is characterized by global developmental delay, absent or severely delayed speech, and neonatal hypotonia. There are approximately 600 reported cases of Phelan-McDermid Syndrome worldwide.

As owners of BP, this foundation hits home to us as we have 2 children in our family with this rare disease. It means a lot to us to help fund research and the family's of these children, as we know personally that it can be a very difficult task at times. More information on this foundation can be found at www.22q13.org or you can help donate directly to this foundation even if you do not use our services by clicking the donate button below. It means a lot to us here at BP.

Another charity that BP has given back to for the past 21 years is Africa Family Rescue.  This non-profit organization was started by Ben Pahlow (Former owner of BP Sealcoating and Paving) and his wife Melody.

Africa Family Rescue is a non-profit faith based organization designed to restore hope and dignity to families, communities and churches affected by extreme poverty in Africa.

Africa Family Rescue has 3 transformational goals for each project:

1. Family transformation through a 3 year family sponsorship program with a strong focus on health, education, housing a micro business development for self-sufficiency.

2. Community transformation through various projects including water well renewal, school and medical intervention and livestock distribution.

3. Church transformation through mission trips and partnerships in local African churches and their surrounding communities.

You can help give back to this charity personally by clicking on the button below. Or by using BP Sealcoating and Paving, know that a percentage of your job cost will be going to help support this non-profit organization.

BP Sealcoating and Paving also gives back to its community with its employees and managers who help with local homeless shelters, run and walk for charity, collect donations of clothes and parishable items to give to the needy and families who can't afford to buy these items themselves.

We're not just any asphalt paving company, we are a family providing quality asphalt  and sealcoating work, that enjoy's giving back to others which benefits us in the best ways possible.
